What the site is
Pawn Shops Map is an independent tool about pawn shops, pawn loan costs and state pawn laws in the United States, edited by Agustín Mendez (Pinamar, Argentina). It is not an official website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any pawn shop, pawn chain, trade association or state regulator. Official names and logos belong to their owners and are mentioned only to identify the services described.
Information, not official advice
Content is general information compiled from public official sources, with the source and date shown where possible. Addresses, hours, fees and requirements change without notice. Check with the official office or website before you travel, pay or submit anything. Nothing on the site is legal, financial or professional advice.
The calculators estimate the maximum charges that state law allows, based on the statutes and regulator publications we cite. They are not legal or financial advice and are not a loan offer. The real amount a pawn shop lends and charges is set in your pawn ticket; always read it before you sign.
Pawn shop listings come from public business information and, where available, official state license lists. We are not affiliated with any pawn shop and do not receive payment for listings.
We do not process applications
We cannot book appointments, file applications, check the status of a case or take payments. Any page or person that asks you for money in the name of this site is not us.
Advertising
The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are marked as such and are chosen by Google, not by us. Showing an ad does not mean we recommend the advertiser.
